There are various neurologic conditions which cause severe debility such as Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), Myasthenia Gravis (MG), traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal injury or dense strokes.

In some cases, these patients require maximum to total assistance for basic mobility tasks which can be extremely challenging for their rehabilitation process.

The total lift bed allows for ease of gradual upright positioning, often, which aids in necessary and beneficial neurocognitive stimulation and more frequent weight bearing sensory input

This conveniently offers opportunities for the patient to be upright and safely weight bearing more frequently throughout the day outside of physical therapy or occupational therapy sessions which accelerates their rehabilitation time significantly.
